The problem is, I'm not getting many comments or feedback from my viewers. Whats up with that??

Did you know that you can leave a comment even if you don't have a blog...It's true! You can leave your comment under the anonymous option and then sign your name.

Hurray! Spring is here! I'm so excited that we made it through Flu and RSV season, hopefully we are completely done with all the cold weather! The babies and I have been hibernating all winter, our goal was to keep them illness free and to fatt'n em up. We did it!!! Breaking news! The Lynn Triplets are 6 months old now!! Silas weighs in at 18.2 lbs, Jagger is a close second at 17.5 lbs and Princess Mia is a dainty 14.4 lbs. Now the race is on to see who gets the first tooth, roles over or sits up unsupported. My sweet angels are changing daily, their little neck, back and arm muscles are getting so strong. Check them out in the picture below holding their heads up while on belly's. It's really something to watch them starting to interact with each other, of course Jagger does most of the talking.

I think they are plotting what they want to do in the next 6 months

The babies are becoming really good friends, they hold hands, talk to each other, cuddle, watch movies together and as all best friends do...cry together.

Mia gets her ears pierced

Today Todd and I took Mia to get her ears pierced at the mall. I was so nervous for her I almost chickened out. The girl working at Claire's assured me that she had pierced about 4 infants a day for the last 6 years. I had nothing to worry about. While waiting in line for our turn I spoke to another mother that had her first little girls ears pierced at 6 months old and was back with her new baby also 6 months old. She told me it was no big deal and we should not have any problems. Apparently 6 months old is the perfect time to pierce ones ears for a couple reasons, one they will never remember it, two they are not able to pull and tug on their ears that helps with the healing.

Here I am making sure the marks are in the right spot. When did I become an expert on this? Isn't that her job? What if I approve and it's not a good spot? This is too much pressure!

To my surprise, Mia only cried for about 30 seconds. She cries more when she gets her monthly shot. I think it scared her more than anything.

My camera shows the time and this is literally the same minute.

Movin' and Shakin' with Jagger

I would like to tell you about our first-born, Jagger Derrek Lynn. Jagger is an amazing person. He was the first one out the gate. I believe he had to be! He is our little maniac. He is go, go go all of the time. I firmly believe that the competiveness of having to be first is forever embedded in his personality. He will be the one running around just for the sake of running around. I guess the time in the womb of having his brother and sister on top of him made him feel restrained! Jagger has a special place in my heart (as do all of them in different ways).. As I was comforting Angie during her c-section, I got to see Jagger first! What a little miracle!

Jagger is already Daddy's little pistol. He makes the craziest, most interesting noises and grunts. He quite often has a mischievous smirk that is unmistakable. He is up to something and he KNOWS it!

Jagger, I believe will be the first to walk, talk and lead. He is using his hands quite well and is showing great signs of strength to holding himself up. He is an extremely messy baby. He always manages to chuck his formula up, pee through his diapers, and just enjoy the trails he makes and anticipates the ones he hasn't made yet! Your mother and I look forward trying to keep up with you!

One cold day in December my friend Leaha (better known as Aunt Leaha in our home) and I loaded up the babies and headed to Fired up, a local pottery studio. Yes, I know I should have posted this blog a long time ago but these were Christmas presents for the family so I had to wait to post and then the time just kinda slipped by. I'm a big girl I can admit that. Hee Hee! OK now back to the story. I purchased the plates ahead of time and had all ready drawn on the flowers. My intent was to spend as little time as possible in Fired Up. After deciding on colors, adding layers of paint and stamping the babies feet we ended up being there for 4 hours. Thank GOD for Aunt Leaha because she feed the babies while I was busy painting. I want you to know that we got several comments about how good my babies were. One lady said "I didn't know that there were any babies in the store, they are so quiet." Aww my little angels! I want to put a disclaimer on the pictures, I had a little girl maybe 10 years old take the photos. In most of the pictures we are missing heads. Well here is the plate I hope you like it.

A wonderful Birthday weekend!

My husband is Amazing, we had a fabulous weekend. I turned 33 on Monday, so the whole weekend he had surprises planned for me. For those of you that know me know that my favorite number is 33 so this one is special. I seem to be surrounded with 3's. HeeHee! We started Saturday night out with dinner at The House of Como, which was really good. Todd ordered their famous salad and bread for us to start out with. Oh so yummy! I ordered the filet mignon and he had 2 giant pork chops. We asked our waitress to snap a few photos of us to capture or special night. This sparked a conversation with the table next to us. They inquired about the occasion, we told them it was my Birthday and we were out for the night. They wished me Happy Birthday and we went on with our romantic dinner. Todd said some very sweet things to me and we reflected on the past year and looked forward to another year. Like normal most of our conversation was about three really cute babies. When we finished dinner the waitress brought out bread pudding on this giant, flashing, spinning and singing tray. The couple at the table next to us sent it to me. How cool is that!!??

Our next stop was a play at the Civic Theatre called Tuesday with Morrie. This was my first time going to the Civic Theatre and it was a really neat place. We both really enjoyed the play which was done entirely with only two guys. That would be way to much for me to memorize. Todd and I plan to have more date nights at the theatre.

The following day we got up and went to church. He did it again, he planned another birthday surprise. He had our families over for fried chicken and all the fixins, ice cream cake and my grandma (GiGi) made this fantabulous cake which I'm not sure the name of. It was so nice!

Keep in mind Todd did this all by his self and managed to keep things a surprise. Usually I figure things out.

Snow Babies

A 36 hour storm brought freezing rain, sleet and snow to Evansville and paralyzed the surrounding tri-state. Numerous trees were down, some blocking roadways, and countless branches were sagging dangerously, weighted down by the ice and snow. Most counties were in an official state of emergency. Thousands were without power, leaving many chilled.

Several of our friends and relatives were forced to seek shelter. We took in a few refugees of our own. My mother and Brydgette and Bryttanie stayed with us for 4 days. We were very fortunate to only lose power two times for a few hours each time.

The night before our guests came was the first time the power went out and it was really fun. Todd started the fireplace and I lit a few candles. I brought out every pillow in the house and some blankets to lay in front of the fire. We set up the pack and play for the babies to sleep in and we were all ready to go! They got a real kick out of seeing the flashlight shine on the ceiling. I looked around as all 5 of us lay beside the fire, and was amazed. This is the family I have always dreamed of. I'm so in love! My heart is as warm as the fire.

In the days after the storm I witnessed many good deeds. It started with the Swanson twins (Nathan & Will) showing up on our door step with hot food the night our power was out. A couple days later the Wares twins (Brydgette & Bryttanie) and I pushed an old lady's car out of a ice and snow drift. People opened their homes, shoveled driveways and scraped ice off of cars for others.

Through the snowstorm of sickness, stuffy noses and sore throats, their inaugural winter trudges on with the hope of a budding spring ahead.

I love you because you are so laid back and at the same time so inquisitive. Your eyes are so big and blue. You make some of the cutest faces from big smiles to curious furrowing brows but, most of the time you look surprised. Your cheeks are so squeezable and your smile is irresistible. I love to kiss your little neck and hold you tight in my arms. You are content to hang out just about anywhere. I love the way you nuzzle your little face in my chest when we rock. When you get excited or upset you snort because you always breathe through your nose. This morning you let out the cutest chuckles as you laid on the changing table. I love it when you coo, it gets you so excited that kick your little legs and cheer with your arms. You think your mommy is really funny. I love the way you look at me with your big big blue eyes and smile with the sweetest toothless grin.

I'm so excited for America as our new leader Barack Obama will take Presidency this week. It has been a long time coming, that we as a nation we can put aside our differences. It brings me great joy that my children will grow up knowing that GOD created us all equally! It does not matter if you are Mexican, black, white, Democrat or republican we are all Americans. Today Todd and I took the babies for their 4 month check ups. Dr. Goldman said they get an A+. All three are growing and progressing extremely well. Check out their weights, Silas 12 lbs 11 oz, Jagger 11 lbs 10 oz, Mia 10 lbs 2 oz!! They are growing so fast. Nurse Terry gave them 3 shots each, so they are a little fussy tonight. Here is a look into our house this evening. I love every minute of it!!

Today Mia and I had some fun! We did girly things, like playing dress up and having a photo shoot. Her cousin Krista made this tutu for her before she was even born. Doesn't she look cute? The bracelet she is wearing I bought for her baby pictures. But it has a much greater meaning than that. I plan to save it for her wedding day. The bracelet is to be worn on her right ring finger. Doesn't that just melt your heart? It's hard for me to think of her as someones bride. Shes my sweet, innocent baby girl. Lets just stay that way. Hopefully for at least another 25 years. Silent Night

I started writing this on Thursday last week and never was able to finish and post. I wonder why???!

Mighty Mia has slept 6 hours in the night for the second consecutive night! Sweet baby Jagger decided to join her last night. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. heee heee! It's really not that bad. Once I'm up and out of bed I'm ready to go. I'm just so happy to have babies waking me up! But Silas don't let that stop you from joining in on the night time slumber.

I thank God daily for my sweet babies. I love you so much!

OK so Jagger isn't diggin it.

So here is my update for this story of night time slumber. Super Silas has taken the lead in the race for a Silent Night. Last night Silas went to bed at 10:30 and he was still sleeping at 6:30 this morning!!!!! Of course this freaked me out. He is the one that has the eternal alarm clock set for excatly 4 hours. He wants his bottle! I think he is going through a major growing spurt. Yesterday I could literally see him growing. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true.

Sunday was a great day at our house. Baby Erin spent the afternoon with us. My heart and soul danced as I watched her crawl around and play in our home. I always knew deep down that she would return to us, even if just for a visit.

Silas has come home. He is the last child of ours to arrive and complete this home.

We are a little behind getting this blog out to you all. Silas came home on election day and won our vote! He is an infant moose. As I write this on Sunday evening, Silas is nearing 8 lbs. Jagger has made it home!! He is doing so well! He just seems to be so happy and content with being at his new home. The homefront is growing by the day! Lil' Mia is expected to join her brother tomorrow!(wed.) We also believe Silas will be home by the time he reaches pre-school. haha... He is doing well~ 7lbs 3oz.!!! He is just being too lazy! Prayerfully, he will complete the Lynn Brood by next week..Angie and I are returning prayers to all of you for the blessings bestowed. Race For The Door

Jagger is 48 hours without a Brady. Mia is starting over again. Lets not even talk about Silas. All three babies passed their car seat checks. Todd and I are scheduled to go to Parent Care on Saturday. Hopefully we will be bringing home Jagger and possibly Mia on Sunday. It's a race for the door, will see who makes it home first. They have been gaining weight really good. Jagger is 5 lbs 14 oz, Mia is 5 lbs 1 oz, are you ready for this Silas is 6 lbs 11 oz!!! Silas is soo BIG!

Waiting for my babies to come home

My sweet baby Jagger was due to come home yesterday. But that didn't happen. On Tuesday we were scheduled to stay in Parent Care for 24 hours. For those of you who aren't familiar with Parent Care.... it's basically a trial run with your baby. The day before you bring a baby home, they set you up in a room at the hospital. You are allowed to take up to two babies at a time. This is practice; with the nurses on call for backup. They also bring you food!

Todd and I were elated that our time had finally come. We showed up at the hospital on cloud 9 and our bags packed. This was going to be the first day in 9 weeks that we could be alone with our babies. Yeah, think about that one for a minute. We are all smiles. After scrubbing up and getting into the NICU, we were informed that both boys were about to be circumcised. Ouch! Twenty minutes later my baby boys were wheeled away. This was really hard for me because I ordered the pain they were about to endure. After a short time that seemed like forever Jagger and Silas were back kicking and screaming. My heart was broke. As Todd and I held them trying to ease the pain, Jagger had a Brady. Todd and I both know what that meant; Jagger won't be able to come home. They must be Brady free for at least 3 days before going home. But it was right after he was circumcised. I think they should have given him that one. I wanted to say to the Dr., "lets cut on your pee pee and see if your heart drops for a second!" heeheehee...but I didn't. So now he has to go 3 more days without a Brady. I just called the hospital and they said all 3 babies have made it 24 hours without one. They are probably going to come home the same day. WOW! I'll take it anyway I can get it! Just come home to momma!

God's Plan

I have always wanted to be a mother, but like most people I wanted to wait until I was happily married. I'm 32 years old and just now getting my babies. Which they won't let me take home! :( I think some people are born to be mothers and some learn to be mothers. I was born to be a mother! So you see I have been waiting over 30 years to fulfill my destiny.

To give you a little history.... my ex husband and I tried for years (ages 21-25) to get pregnant. But thankfully God knew it was not right!

Todd and I shared the same dreams of having a family. So after our wedding we immediately "tried" to start our family. You know the rest of the story! Four long years of fertility treatments and thousands of dollars later....we now have three beautiful babies! And no saving account. I will spare you the painful infertility stories and focus on the learning experience.

I feel like God made Todd and I wait until we were spiritually right with Him. We thought we were those first years of "trying". We were lead to an awesome church called North Winds. We went to church every Sunday. Todd played with the Praise team and I taught the little ones in Sunday School. That makes you right with God doesn't it?? No. Not for us. We still had some growing to do with God. With the leadership of Pastor Don, Nancy and North Winds Church we are on our way. North Winds has become more than a building with "holy" people. They have become family. The cool thing about North Winds is we journey together.

Do you think if we would have had a child in the first couple of years, we would have ever became Foster Parents?? I don't. God had a plan for us. We had to give up on our plan and listen to His. Because we listened we were able to be a part of several children's lives. Hopefully, we made a difference. Hopefully, they were able to see Jesus and a brighter side of life. I like to think of it as planting seeds.

I will forever be changed because of one child. Her name is Erin. We both were in need of rescue. Todd and I brought her home from the hospital on Christmas Eve, she was only 3 days old. She was gorgeous! We loved her as our own. She owns a very special place in my heart! Baby Erin will always be a part of our family. We love her and pray for her daily. By the way, she has been living with her birth mother for 3 months now. Her mother is now 6 months clean and sober and attending Church. They are reportedly both doing well.

I have learned it's not about me and my wants. It's all about God and His Divine Plan. Pastor Don will be proud of that. So you see it will happen when you let go. No matter what you are searching for. Give it to God! All of it! He will bless you! Let your faith guide you!

Check out my baby boy! He made it out in the open air for over 24 hours! Dr. Grant increased bottle feedings to every time for all three babies. Now it's count down time. Silas has been approved to go home as soon as he makes it 3 days with out a Brady.

Mia and Jagger will be moved to open air cribs tomorrow at 7am. So tomorrow will be a big day for them, taking all bottles and keeping up their body temperature. Please pray for their continued growth.

One last thing, I was officially initiated into mommy world tonight. Let me explain without too much detail. I was changing Jagger's diaper and he had a little poo. Well, out of no where comes a LOT more poo. So like a good mother I continue to clean. OK so all is well. I'm getting ready to put a new diaper under him and it happened again! Keep in mind I had nothing under him but his bed. Now comes the icing on the cake, hes now peeing. Needless to say we went ahead and gave him a bath. I love being a mommy!

Daddy feeds Mia

Here I am with my beautiful little daughter. This was the first time she was fed by a bottle. Until now she has been tube fed. She took to it like a little champ! Because it is so much work for her and she burns calories feeding, we had to wait until she was 4lbs. I got just a bit emotional seeing her learn to coordinate her sucking and breathing. Afterwards, she let out a big girl burp and cuddled on Daddy' s chest, falling asleep after her first big meal. So proud of her!!

Updates on the Lynn Cuties

This week will be a BIG challenge for all three babies. Dr. Vincent has decided it's time to ween them off of their caffeine. This one still puzzles me. My whole pregnancy I was warned against caffeine and then they day they were born, they put them on CAFFEINE???? Anyways, we all know how hard a day without caffeine is. The caffeine is a respiratory stimulate. It helps them to remember to breathe so they don't have heart rate drops. In the NICU it's referred to as Brada Cardia or for short, Brady's.

The next big challenge is getting the boys out of the isolettes into an open air crib. Wow! now this means they have to maintain their own body temperatures. It doesn't sound like much but apparently it's a lot of work for them. So over a couple of days they will slowly lower the temperature in the isolettes. This will help the babies adjust and to figure out it's their turn to regulate their own body temperature.

They have been advanced to taking every other feeding by bottles. The boys are handling this very well and Mia has had to have a little help. However, she is still doing great.

All of these advancements burn lots O calories. Which makes it more difficult to gain weight.
Which is why I'm so excited to announce......

Super Silas made it to the 5 lbs mark!!
Sweet baby Jagger is 4 lbs 9.1 oz!!

Moving forward in the NICU

This week two very special things happened in the NICU. Silas and Jagger have made it over the four pound mark! To be exact Silas is 4lbs 7oz and Jagger is 4lbs 2oz. While Princess Mia hangs in with 3 lbs 8oz.

On Sunday Todd and I had the pleasure of giving our baby boys there first bottles. Wow, that was awesome! They are taking two feedings a day by bottle now. They will be reevaluated on Sunday. Hopefully then we will add in a couple more bottles per day.

This afternoon Silas was moved to the middle room of the NICU. Which for any of you that have not journeyed through St. Mary's NICU. That's a step in the right direction! One room closer to going home. Although, I was sad to have him moved from his sister and brother, it's good to see him progressing so well! God is so good!

Sept.27 update

The triplets are doing amazing!!!! Silas is up to 4lbs2.2oz ---- Jagger is up to 3lbs.14.9oz -----Mia is up to 3lbs6.1oz!!!!! We will be attempting bottle feedings @ a minimum real soon!!!(they are still on feeding tubes). They are growing so big and strong!!! All tests are good--vision, heart, lungs ,etc... Thank all of you so much for the prayers you have sent their ways (and ours)! It is quite obvious how big of a God we have....We love and thank you all!
